Another week of training in the books, and my Half Marathon is approaching this Sunday – 11/06/2022. My fitness approach this time is a little different from past race builds and tapers. For this race, I am coming off from mostly Triathlon (multi-sport training), which I migrated directly into half marathon distance running.
The taper is always the difficult process as you’re decreasing volume while maintaining the fitness you have built. Although, if you do it correctly you’ll be in top shape for your race.
